Manchester United have a big squad but don’t feature in many competitions this season. Having been knocked out from the League Cup, Louis van Gaal doesn’t have the chance to rotate his squad and give chances to some of his squad players. With youngsters like Adnan Januzaj not getting chances, Van Gaal should look to trim down the squad.
Anderson: It would be a miracle if Manchester United manage to find a buyer for the Brazillian midfielder. Once regarded as better than Wayne Rooney, now there is no light at the end of the tunnel for this former Porto man. Last year, he had gone on loan to Fiorentina which was again a failure.
Jonny Evans: Jonny Evans is now 27, he is no more a young upcoming centre back which people make him out be every year. With blunder after blunder, it doesn’t look like he will become world class and he has to be moved out of United as fast as possible.
Anders Lindegaard: The Danish goalkeeper should have now lost all hopes of replacing David De Gea who in such prime form looks set to become one of the best in the world. If Lindegaard steps down a level, is a very good goalkeeper and he should now look to play regularly.
Chris Smalling: The stupid red card against Manchester City should be the final nail in the coffin for this former Fulham man. He has never performed consistently for United and now that he is no more a youngster, more time can’t be given to him to perform. Also, with Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett knocking on the door, it is time for Smalling to be sold.
Wilfried Zaha: Currently on loan with Crystal Palace, Zaha doesn’t seem cut out for the top level in football. Not setting the world alight at Palace and coupled with off the field issues, Sir Alex Ferguson’s last buy looks like a dud.
