When players join a new club, they take time in finding their feet and getting accustomed to the new surroundings that they dwell in. It's not just the managers who have to chop and change things, a lot depends on players as well.

While it'd be wonderful to see Milan win the title once again, the new recruits will take time in getting to know the club and how the manager will go about things. And since the quantity is likely to exceed ten or eleven, the manager himself will take his time in making the players fit into a system of his own.

Not all players take the same time in acclimatising themselves to the new surroundings, though. Even if two settle in effortlessly, the others can take some months to getting used to playing for a club as big as AC Milan.
