In 1987, when Joe Kinnear was the manager of Nepal, he told a few journalists that he had to flee the country because the prince of Nepal – who was friends with Kinnear – shot the king and queen. It later turned out that the prince did in fact kill his parents, a full 14 years after Kinnear left the country.
