Five reasons why Joe Kinnear is the joke of the Toon

Last night, Kinnear gave an interview with talkSPORT and made a complete fool of himself. He got the names of Newcastle United players all wrong: Yohan Kebab, Kayotee, Shola Ananobe, Ben Afra… to name a few. Kinnear declared to the talkSPORT hosts that he had won the Manager of the the Year award three times. He did win the Manager of the Year, but only once in 1994. He claimed that he signed Newcastle’s goalkeeper Tim Krul. But the truth is that Krul was signed by Graeme Souness; three years before Kinnear arrived at the club. Lastly, Kinnear doesn’t seem to remember correctly how many times he played for Tottenham Hotspur. He boasted that he made over 400 appearances but he was wrong again. He just has over 200+ appearances.
