Although Paolo Di Canio is an admired figure at Upton Park, the world knows about the problems with his temper.

In a certain League game versus Bradford, West Ham were trailing 3-1. Di Canio was already fed-up with the referee and had asked Harry Redknapp to pull him out. But Redknapp ignored his request and asked him to play on.

When West Ham received a penalty against Bradford, a young Frank Lampard stepped up to take it. But the Italian seemed to be mad at Lampard for wanting to take the penalty. Canio wrestled the Englishman for the ball and snatched it from him.

He scored from the spot and West Ham eventually won the match 5-4. But, the fight was caught on camera and it showed a serious lack of dignity on the pitch.
