Manchester United player Darren Fletcher, after a hiatus spent in recuperation, is planning to make a comeback to the club this pre-season, as reported by Daily Mail.
The 28-year-old midfielder has been out of action for the past eighteen months, all of 2013, due to a chronic bowel condition, medically referred to as ulcerative colitis.
Fletcher, who has two more years to see through in his contract, was part of a campaign for a brief period of time, last year, but only managed to play in ten matches for the team, starting in just two and eventually had to be sidelined by December.
After having undergone two operations to treat his condition in April and by rigorously following a specialized diet programme, Fletcher hopes to make it in time for United’s first pre-season game, presided over by new manager David Moyes.
