Before moving to the Italian league, the 23-year-old was relatively unknown to the majority of people. However, he is now taking the league by storm and, many have even touted him as the next Lewandowski.

Despite playing for a smaller team such as Genoa before moving to AC Milan, the Polish striker has given Ronaldo a fierce competition in Italian Golden Boot race. He has amassed 19 goals in the league this season with 3 fewer penalty goals than Ronaldo.

Surprisingly, Piatek has only attempted 3.2 shots per game (combined for both Genoa and Milan) on average, significantly less than Ronaldo's 5.82 shots. For Milan, the player has scored 6 times in 7 appearances with just 2.3 shots per game. It would be just about time for the ex-Genoa striker to move to a more ambitious club if he could continue his scintillating form.
