#1 Van Gaal holds Kroos talks

New Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has reportedly been in contact with Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos to discuss a potential move to Old Trafford this summer.

The 24-year-old is said to be a top transfer target for the Reds Devils but face competition from Real Madrid. Kroos, who is out of contract at the end of next season, has been stalling to pen a new deal with the Bundesliga champions in order to seek pay rise.

Bayern Munich value Kroos around £30 million and may be willing to sell the midfielder if he refuses to sign a new deal before the start of next season or else risk the German International leave for free next term.

Manchester City are weighting up a £25 million bid for Real Madrid defender Pepe after failing to attract their prime targets. Manuel Pellegrini was keen to sign Porto’s £35m-rated defender Eliaquim Mangala but the Frenchman who reportedly rejected the chance to move to the Etihad this summer.

While, Roma has slapped a £50 million prize tag on thier star defender Mehdi Benatia, which Man City believe is an unrealistic demand. The Premier League champions are expected to sign a world class centre back to partner club skipper Vincent Kompany from next season.

Man City are now said to make £25 million move for Real Madrid’s Pepe, who has been a long term target for the English giants. The 31-year-old has been one of the star performers for Real Madrid this season.

#3 Man United face 60m fee to re-sign Paul Pogba

Manchester United have been quoted with a £60 million transfer fee for bring Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford. The French International left the Reds Devils for free two years ago and has since been a key player for the Italian champions.

Pogba has been linked with a move back to the Premier League in recent times but Juventus will try to keep their star midfielder at the club. Louis van Gaal’s interest for Pogba is unclear yet but the Dutch coach has publicly revealed his admiration for Pogba’s midfield partner Arturo Vidal.

Van Gaal has hailed the Chilean star fueling rumours of a £40 million summer swoop for the Juventus midfielder. He said, "I always wanted to buy Vidal when he was at Bayer Leverkusen but he went to Juventus.”

#4 Chelsea to reject Real Madrid approach for Ramires

Chelsea will reportedly reject any opening offer from Real Madrid for midfielder Ramires. The Champions League winners are said to interested in signing the Brazilian this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti, who first brought Ramires to the Premier League while his time as a Chelsea boss, made enquires for him back in November. The Italian coach remains a huge admirer of Ramires and will make move to sign him and Liverpool star striker Luis Suarez after the end of World Cup.

Real Madrid are keen to bolster their midfield options and Ramires is said to be favorite to move to the Spanish capital, should Chelsea allow the 27-year-old to leave. While, according to reports in Spain, PSG’s Marco Veratti is considered as alternative if move for Ramires fails to materialise.

A host of Premier League clubs have been put on alert after Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic confirmed that he will leave the Bavarian club this summer. The 28-year-old is said to be a target for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Mandzukic said: “I met with (Bayern chairman) Karl Heinz Rummenigge before the cup final and told him I wanted to leave the club. I've had a fantastic time at Bayern. It's a great club and I never thought I'd want to leave, and especially not at this point in time.”The 28-year-old, who will cost in excess of £25 million, has claimed that Bayern boss Pep Guardiola’s style of play does not work to his strengths. Mandzukic will be replaced by Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandoski, who will arrive at the Allianz Arena for free this summer.
