Following United's failure to sign Leighton Baines in the summer, Patrice Evra has been the only automatic left-back choice for David Moyes this season. And although his performances going forward in support of the left winger has been decent, its his defensive frailties that has left United let down on many occasions.
Even with his stupendous goal at the Allianz Arena in the second leg against Bayern Munich, he was the main culprit in all the three goals that United conceded following that strike.
With the Frenchman's current contract due to end in the summer, his future at Old Trafford still remains in doubt.
