Rumoured: Former Chelsea Star offered to Arsenal

According to Metro, Former Chelsea star Salomon Kalou has been offered to Arsenal and the move may happen when the January transfer window opens.

Salomon Kalou is currently playing for former French champions, Lille. He left premier league in 2012 and now has a £2.5m release clause in his contract. These rumors also suggest that Wenger is considering Kalou as a backup option for Olivier Giroud.

With Chelsea, Kalou had won most of the major titles including Champions League, Premier League and four FA Cups. With such good experience, he can be a good utility/backup player for the Gunners.
