Barcelona's Luis Suarez is on the lashing end of Frank Leboeuf's tongue after abysmal Liverpool game.

What’s the story?

Former France defender Frank Leboeuf in his recent interview has come lashing out at Luis Suarez after his team was sent packing back from the UEFA Champions League by Liverpool as they overcame a 3-0 deficit from the first leg to win the tie 4-3 on aggregate.

Frank implied that he was very happy to see the Catalans bow out of the UCL as he loathes the Uruguayan striker. The 1998 World Cup winner admitted that he just can not stand watching players like Luis Suarez and was full of criticism for the Blaugrana striker.

In case you didn’t know..

Frank Leboeuf was in the French World Cup squad that went on to lift the coveted trophy in 1998. The central defender had 50 caps for the national team and played for Chelsea for 5 years making 144 appearances for the Blues.

The heart of the matter

Earlier this week, Liverpool made a miraculous comeback against FC Barcelona as they overcame a 3 goal deficit carried on from the first leg to win the semifinals clash 4-3 on aggregate. The Reds were just magnificent in front of their own fans at Anfield as they bullied the Spanish giants to seal a berth in the finals.

Reacting to Barca's loss, Frank Leboeuf in a recent interview, vented out his honest feelings about Luis Suarez as he did not hold back and went on to state:

"I hate the way he plays"
"I admire Barcelona, but I was happy they got knocked out because of Luis Suárez," Leboeuf. I have no respect for players like him."
"He's a top player, but he's a cheat and a moaner. I hate the way he plays.
"If I were still a player, I don't think I'd make it through a whole match [against Suárez], and I think I'd do everything in my power to make sure he didn't finish the match, either."

The former Chelsea and Marseille defender even said :

"He's a bad example to youngsters.
"I can't stand seeing players like that out on the field."

What's next?

Luis Suarez is currently sidelined for 4-6 weeks and is a major doubt for the Copa del Rey final clash against Valencia. He would be hoping to make a speedy recovery and help the Catalans lift the double at least.
