Rome, June 24 (IANS) Spanish forward Alvaro Morata bid farewell on Friday to Italian football champions Juventus, saying he will "always feel like a Juventino".
Morata will return to Real Madrid after the end of Euro 2016, as the Spanish club has exercised his buy-back clause after the player spent two seasons with Juventus, with whom he won Serie A and Coppa Italia twice, reports Efe.
In a farewell letter to Juventus fans, he stressed that the Italian team allowed him to become a better player.
"Thanks to all the people who work for this immense club that is Juventus. Workers, physiotherapists, doctors, security, chefs. In brief, thanks to all who are part of Juve," Morata wrote.
"I remain marked by this club, its history and all of you. Wherever I go I'll always feel like a Juventino and I'll be able to say with pride and in a loud voice that I wore the Juventus colours."
