#3 Pepe Reina (€1m)
Given that the Spaniard would be 36 on August 31, he should only represent a short-term fix, if Chelsea do not get a replacement before Thursday. It is, however, an unlikely probability given that he only just arrived at AC Milan on a free transfer from Napoli.
If he comes to Chelsea, the World Cup winner would be reunited with Maurizio Sarri, having worked with the Italian for three seasons at San Paolo between 2015 and 2018.
With vast appearances made across Europe, Pepe Reina would bring experience into the Chelsea dressing room, and make the transition to Sarri's methods easier due to their previous working experience. He also brings an added advantage of having Premier League experience, with almost 400 league appearances made for Liverpool, where he won numerous personal accolades, including three consecutive Golden Glove awards between 2005 and 2008.
