The Hague, May 23 (IANS): Dutch football head coach Louis van Gaal has named four debutants in the squad for the friendlies in Indonesia and China in June.
Heracles Almelo midfielder Lerin Duarte, Feyenoord leftback Miquel Nelom, Swansea City defender Dwight Tiendalli and FC Utrecht midfielder Jens Toornstra were included in the squad Wednesday.
Ajax reserve goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, who is yet to earn a cap, is part of the squad as well. However, for Cillessen it is not his first call-up, he was part of the Dutch team which played internationals in Brazil and Uruguay in 2011.
Experienced stars like captain Wesley Sneijder, Robin van Persie, Dirk Kuyt, Rafael van der Vaart and Arjen Robben are part of the squad of 21 players. The ‘Oranje’ will play Indonesia June 7 in Jakarta and China June 11 in Beijing.
