#3. Alexandre Lacazette (Forward- Arsenal)
Price: 10.4 (No deviation from previous value)
Fixtures: Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspurs, Burnley, Huddersfield Town, Manchester United.
The French striker who was tipped to be one of the brightest goalscoring talents in Europe since the last 5 years, finally seemed to have ended Arsenal's search for a prolific goalscorer when he signed for them in the summer, but this has not been the case thus far.
Like many other talents to have stepped on the Premier League stage, Alexandre Lacazette seems to need some time to settle in the world's most physically challenging and competitive league. Even though his start may not be as bad as some others, Lacazette needs time to adapt to his new surroundings, and once he does there is no doubt he will be amongst the most dangerous strikers in the league, but for now, he should get the axe from your FPL side.
His 5 goals and 42 points in FPL so far might suggest that he is better than my valuation of him, but for the same price, you could be getting a lot, lot more.
So far Lacazette has only managed to score what you may call "Cameo" goals and has not stepped up to the plate to win games on his own. If he would've been even a little cheaper, he could have been an excellent pick on FPL, but at this point in time, his price tag just does not seem to be worth it.
If that is not enough to convince you, a glance at his fixture list should do the job. The French international faces Man City, Tottenham and Man Utd in his next 5 games and I am not optimistic enough to see him scoring in this troublesome set of fixtures.
