Chelsea‘s star mid-fielder Frank Lampard believes that Jose Mourinho should make a come back to Stamford Bridge. The reason being Lampard has post-retirement plans of being a Chelsea manager.
Also, Lampard’s future in the club looks to be at stake as his contract runs out at the end of season, and there has been no firm offer from Chelsea’s side.
Lampard also believes that the team may come back on track if its under Mourinho’s supervision, as they were in 2005-2006 when they won back to back titles. After Mourinho’s exit from Chelsea, the ex-manager tried to sign Lampard for Inter Milan in 2008.
Although Mourinho’s return is not confirmed, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been keen to sign in Mourinho in place of Rafa Benitez this summer. As it is, Mourinho’s run with Real Madrid looks unstable.
