Austria scored the only goal of the game in 7 seconds

Austria managed to sink the Russian ship in just seven seconds as they emerged 1-0 winners in their European qualification encounter.

Despite of having more of the ball and shots on target, Russia couldn’t capitalise on their chances and failed to register on the scoresheet as Austria took away valuable three points from the game. The manner in which the goal was scored was simply astounding as the Fabio Capello’s men were completely left for dead with just two moves.

The attack was initiated by the Austrian goalkeeper Almer as it took only seven seconds for the ball to land in the back of the opposition net. What happened it between?
