Fulham
Stekelenburg (-43): Conceding three meant that Stekelenburg scored the lowest performance score of the afternoon.
Riether (-2) : The full back experienced a tough first half as United took control and exploited the right hand side of Fulham’s defence.
Richardson (46): The highest scoring Fulham player, Richardson took three shots and contributed three crosses
Parker (-4): The midfielder was left chasing shadows in the first half, and scored a performance score of -4.
Senderos (-5): The centre back only made one tackle during the whole game, and failed to win a headed duel
Amorebieta (-5): Booked for a cynical trip in the second half, Amorebieta was tidy in possession and made 91% of his passes
Dejagah (-36): Substituted in the 61st minute, Dejagah scored the lowest performance score of any outfield Fulham player. Posting a poor pass accuracy of 74%, Dejagah continuisly gave the ball away in the final third.
Sidwell (18): Busy without the ball, making two interceptions and five tackles, Sidwell only managed to find a teammate with 73% of his attempted passes.
Berbatov (17): The striker took three shots – two on target – and created two chances for his teammates
Ruiz (-6): Pretty anonymous before his substitution, Ruiz didn’t manage to register a single shot on goal.
Kasami (28): Kasami put four crosses into the United box and made 80% of his passes.
Subs:
Kacaniklic (29): The Fulham goal-scorer injected some attacking play, contributing two shots, three crosses and a key pass.
Taarabt (21): Despite only being on the pitch as a late substitute, the enigmatic Taarabt managed two shots, a cross, a key pass and a failed take on.
Bent (12): Only on for eight minutes but managed to hit the bar as Fulham pressed forward.
United:
De Gea (11): Will be disappointed to have lost his clean sheet, but made five saves during the game.
Rafael (7): The right back wasn’t really tested in a first half that United dominated. Suffering a nasty looking fall just before half time and perhaps with one eye on Tuesday’s Champions League game in Sociedad, the Brazilian was withdrawn at the break
Evra (-1): Attempted five take ons, successfully getting past his man with three of them.
Vidic (50): Made 12 clearances in a typically dominant display.
Evans (21): Replaced at half time as part of David Moyes’s triple substitution, Evans made seven clearances in the first half.
Valencia (37): Set United on their way with a well taken opener, and also made three take ons over the course of the game.
Jones (9): Playing in the holding midfield role normally occupied by Michael Carrick, Squawka Young Player of the Month Jones filled in admirably and made 91% of his passes.
Cleverley (42) – Substituted at half time, the England midfielder was immaculate in possession. His 97% pass accuracy in the first half helped him to a Squawka performance score of 42.
Van Persie (68): The Squawka man of the match by performance score, Van Persie scored United’s second with an emphatic finish into the roof of the net.
Rooney (38): Linked up well with Robin Van Persie to help United to a commanding lead, intelligently setting up Valencia’s opener before notching one himself.
Januzaj (-1): Roamed across the pitch to combine promisingly with his attacking teammates.
Substitutes
Smalling (10): Had little to do as a second half sub in a game that was won by half time.
Kagawa (6): A quiet afternoon for the Japan international, who must surely have wished he had featured in a first half in which United were rampant, rather than the less attacking second half.
Fellaini (29) : Despite only featuring for a half, Fellaini made more passes (39) than any Fulham midfield player.
