Presenting this week’s edition of Football Funnies, bringing to you funny football videos from around the world. The penalty by Al-Ahly from Egypt has to be the pick of the week. Al-Ahli were winning the game 4-0 any way, and the ref gave the player a yellow card assuming the player mocked the keeper. I don’t think he meant it, it seems a pure accident, but makes for a great laugh.
Somehow funny penalties always seem to be linked with Arab teams. This one is from Egypt, and we got the funny keeper from Morocco and the controversial six times repeated penalty for Tunisia in the Olympics.
The second is Spain vs. Georgia U-21, a very skillful own goal
And something I have uploaded to YouTube with some funny clips both local and global. They are old but almost never seen. For the global fans, the first clip starts with Eric Cantona‘s strange chance.
For the locals, the second clip has a funny back heel pass for Yousif Thiniyan vs. UAE in Asian Cup Semi Final 1992
