Lukas Podolski could reportedly be on his way out of Arsenal as Turkish giants Galatasaray look to sign the German World Cup winner
According to reports, Galatasaray are also keen to sign Costa Rican forward Joel Campbell, but the Gunners seemed to have not given up on the striker yet.
The reports suggest that the Turkish club have made an audacious bid of £22m to try and prise away the talented duo from North London.
Arsenal, however have informed the Turks that they would only be willing to listen to deals involving the German at the moment.
Podolski, who has scored 19 goals in 53 Premier League appearances since moving to The Emirates from 1. FC Köln for £11m in 2012 has seen most of his appearances in the red and white of Arsenal as a substitute. In fact, he was the most used substitute in the Premier League in his first season in England.
The ex-Bayern Munich man is expected to fall further down the Arsenal pecking order this summer following the £35million arrival of Alexis Sanchez.
Joel Campbell meanwhile is yet to make his competitive debut for Arsenal. The Costa Rican forward spent the last three seasons on loan at Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiacos respectively.
He, however, caught the eye with his string of blistering performances for his national team in the recently concluded World Cup in Brazil.
His impressive partnership up front with Marco Ureña and Bryan Ruiz led the CONCACAF nation to the knock-out stages of the competition.
Wenger however, in his recent comment has suggested that Campbell will soon “get his chance” to shine for Arsenal.
