Ganesh Thapa retains ANFA presidency for the sixth term

AFC Vice President and All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) president Ganesh Thapa retained the ANFA presidency for the sixth term during the ANFA elective general assembly held at Kathmandu, Nepal on October 24, 2013. Ganesh Thapa who was unchallenged the ANFA top post, will lead ANFA as the president for the sixth term in a row and has been at the helm of the Nepalese football governing body for the last 20 years.

Along with Mr. Thapa, 17-member ANFA executive committee was elected unanimously. Lalit Krishna Shrestha, Karma Chhiring Sherpa, Bijay Narayan Manandhar, Kishor Rai, Prakash Pangeni and Pradesh Singh Rathod are vice presidents in the committee while Devendra Man Singh Basnet, Kalpana Piya Shrestha, Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Basanta Aryal, Ganesh Bahadur Chand, Ramesh Rayamajhi, Dinesh Byanjankar, Mohammad Sabi Ullah, Ratna Kumar Shrestha and Purusottam Adhikari are the members of the executive committee.

The first executive committee meeting have appointed Dhirendra Pradhan and Indra Man Tuladhar as the general secretary and CEO respectively.
