Real Madrid’s record signing Gareth Bale is in line for his home debut in Saturday night’s derby against Atletico Madrid, reports BBC.
The £85.3 m summer signing from Tottenham Hotspur missed out on last two games with a thigh injury as Real Madrid extended their unbeaten start.
Bale, though, did make his debut in the 2-2 draw away at Villarreal and also played as a substitute in the 6-1 Champions League away win over Galatasaray.
“I think he will be ready for Saturday, no problem,” said Mardid coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Real Madrid’s opponents Atletico Madrid have won all their six games so far this season and are joint league leaders along with Barcelona.
Under the tutelage of their new gaffer Gerardo Martino, Barcelona have not drop points and are on the verge of making it their best ever start to a season if they beat Almeria.
Meanwhile, the other unbeaten side in La Liga Villarreal takes on Real Betis on Sunday.
