Barcelona defender Gerard Pique was overheard talking to his team-mate Dani Alves about having a lot of enemies, just like him, during his team’s training session.
The 27-year-old centre-back was caught on video by Welabo saying, “Hey Dani, you’ve got a lot of enemies, like me!” Pique, despite of achieving a considerable amount of success with the Catalan side and his national team, has seen his role reduce in the starting eleven under new manager Luis Enrique. He has managed to start four games out of a total eight.
The Spanish international was also recently fined for using his mobile phone on the bench and is definitely going through a rough patch at the club. There have been rumours about a move to the Premier League with Chelsea and his former club Manchester United seemingly interested.
And while he seems to be unsettled among the Blaugrana ranks, he has also decided to drop a hint to his Brazilian team-mate Alves, that he too is falling out of favour at the club.
Alves has been subject to a lot of rumours suggesting he will be leaving Camp Nou this summer when his contract at the club expires with a Premier League switch most frequently touted.
