The latest FIFA rankings that were announced today saw both Germany and Argentina retain their spots at 1 and 2, respectively.
Belgium moved up to 3rd in the rankings, thanks to their wins over Israel and Cyprus, pushing Colombia to 4th in the process. The biggest jump in terms of points was made by Wales, who added 153 points to rise by 15 spots to 22nd.
European giants Italy and France both fell by 3 ranks each and are currently 13th and 11th in the table while Spain moved up a slot to climb back into the top 10. England meanwhile, have capitalised on their recent form and risen to 14th in the rankings.
In terms of Indian interests, the country has made a big move up the rankings under new coach Stephen Constantine, thanks to their two-legged 2-0 aggregate win over Nepal. India are now ranked 146, a jump of 25 places from their previous rankings.
Bhutan, who were the last ranked team before the 2018 World Cup qualifiers began, were the biggest movers, moving up 46 places from 209 to 163.
