In the 3rd minute of added time, Fabio Coentrao was red carded on the touch line for disruptive behavior. The result left the Los Blancos, five points adrift of their Catalan rivals, who won 2-1 at Osasuna, with a comeback-win inspired by a brace from Lionel Messi.
