Gibson has three match ban reversed

Everton midfielder Darron Gibson has had his red card ban quashed after the FA assessed the incident and decided not to press any charges.

Gibson was awarded a straight red after a tackle on Mark Noble during the club’s 2-1 win at Upton park last week and was then handed a three match ban which was contested by the club. He is now clear to face Chelsea on Sunday.
