Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard’s younger brother, Thorgan has been enjoying a stellar season with Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach after being loaned out this transfer window.
His form has not gone unnoticed as the authorities at Gladbach are said to be so impressed with the Belgian’s performance that they are now willing to keep him in the side for yet another season.
Gladbach director Max Eberl was quoted by RL Online stating, "He is a boy with great potential. We are 100 percent sure of him. Already he has made great progress.”
"We need good players for our future. A loan, if only for a year, is a legitimate way to sign a player that you do not get otherwise,” he adds. "We want to sign Thorgan for Gladbach [for more than a year]."
The 21-year-old has made a total of 15 appearances for Gladbach this season including six starts in the process, something that Hazard is looking to improve in the coming days.
"I hope I can start more often in the league soon. But we have many good players, the competition is great," he was quoted by RL. "After the season we have arranged to meet for talks, then we'll see what happens."
