Italian football club Napoli's Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain faces suspension for at least three games for his repeated protests to the referee after being sent off in a 1-3 Serie A loss against Udinese.
Sports judge Gianpaolo Tosel will take the final decision after reviewing the report of referee Massimiliano Irrati and the reaction of Higuain, who confronted the referee and pushed him with both hands after receiving a yellow card, reports Efe.
The penalty provided for similar situations is a three-game suspension. If applicable, the top goal scorer of Serie A will miss the matches against Verona, Inter Milan and Bologna.
