What do you do when you are playing FIFA and your favourite star misses a penalty in the 90th minute, which could have won you the match? You may well get frustrated and throw away you controller only to realize later that you just destroyed the gaming device that was so close to your heart.
Then you might have to go and ask your parents to buy a new one. But one gamer in Germany, Mario Thissen did something entirely different, he messaged the player whose in game avatar missed the penalty.
The German World Cup winner missed a penalty on the 90th minute on FIFA video game and the gamer in control got so frustrated that he slammed the controller and it got destroyed.
The frustrated gamer, Mario Thissen wrote to Bayern Munich asking for compensation from Mario Gotze for being the reason for breaking the controller. In all respects it seemed like a joke in itself.
But guess what, the Bayern Munich star replied saying that he understands its very frustrating to miss a penalty in the 90th minute but that he should not throw the controller again. And he also guaranteed that he will surely score the penalty next time.
And as a nice gesture, he has sent him little gift as well.
