Nepal’s U16 National team registered a convincing 4 - 1 victory over George Telegraph Kolkata to enter the quarter finals of the 34th All India Governor’s Gold cup being held at Sikkim, India. Influential striker Bimal Gharti Magar netted 2 goals for Nepal U16 while Anil Rai and Shiva Subedi netted a goal each for Nepal U16 team. Ajay Roy scored the consolation goal for George Telegraph Kolkata.
In other matches of the day 4 of the championship, United Sikkim FC defeated MP United FC 3 – 1 to advance to the quarterfinal of the championship.
