Guinea welcome Ethiopia to Alassane Ouattara Ebimpe Olympic Stadium for a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday (October 12th). This game will be the first of a double-header between the sides and hosts Guinea will be looking to bounce back from the 2-1 defeat they suffered at home to Tanzania last month.
They went ahead through Mohamed Bayo's 57th-minute strike, but Feisal Salum drew the game level four minutes later while Mudathir Yahya scored the match-winner for Tanzania in the 88th minute.
Ethiopia, meanwhile, suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to DR Congo in their last game. Theo Bongonda broke the deadlock for the Leopards in the 62nd minute while Fiston Mayele made sure of the result with 14 minutes left on the clock.
