Berlin, June 13 (IANS)
Bundesliga side Hannover have signed Edgar Prib from relegated side Greuther Fuerth until June 2017.
The 23-year-old left footer started his career at Greuther Fuerth in 1996 to work his way through to the first team in 2009-2010, reports Xinhua.
“With Edgar Prib, we signed a versatile midfield all-rounder who already demonstrated his skills at Fuerth,” Hannover coach Mirko Slomka said Wednesday.
The versatile midfielder scored three goals in 27 appearances in the past season. He is the second new arrival following Salif Sane, who joined from French side Nancy Lorraine. Both sides agreed to maintain silence over further contract details.
Hannover finished the past season ninth, unable to ensure a berth in any European competition.
“We have tried hard to sign the player, the more delighted we are that he opted for Hannover,” director of sports Dirk Dufner said.
