Before Lampard overtook his record as the highest all-time goalscorer for the Blues, Bobby Tambling held that record for over four decades. His total of 202 goals for Chelsea was a legendary feat and it currently places the prolific goalscorer in second position on the all-time list.
Joining Stamford Bridge in his youth, Tambling started his professional career in 1957 and played 370 games in the 13 years before his retirement. He notably aided Chelsea to a League Cup win in 1965.
Center-forward: Didier Drogba - 164 goals

Joining the club in 2004, the former Ivorian international led Chelsea through a brilliant period of success for eight seasons. Drogba's true strengths lay in the most important games, like cup finals, where he would almost always score for Chelsea. Notably, Drogba has scored in four separate FA Cup finals. Clinical, pacey on the ball, and strong in the air, the Chelsea legend was the perfect targetman in the club's ranks for nearly a decade.
Didier Drogba holds the record as the highest foreign goalscorer in the club's history, and he once finished a season with 37 goals. Drogba returned to Chelsea in 2014, contributing to a Premier League title and a League Cup win.
Right-wing forward: Kerry Dixon - 193 goals

A master goalscorer and a brilliant attacker, Dixon became a legend even before he left the club after a nine-year stint. He was the first player to come close to Bobby Tambling's all-time goalscorer record before Lampard overtook them both. Playing 420 games for the club since his debut in 1983, Dixon scored 193 goals.
He helped his side to promotion from the Second Division, scoring a brace on his debut against Derby County. Although he didn't win any major trophies with the club, he eventually guided his side to a respectable position in the First Division.
