Jose Mari Bakero is one of a handful of midfielders to have scored 100 La Liga goals.
Bakero has made almost 500 appearances in the competition, scoring 139 times. The 58-year-old is one of a handful of players to have won multiple La Liga titles with more than one club. He won his first two titles in the competition with Real Sociedad in the early eighties and bagged four La Liga titles with the Barcelona dream team of the early nineties.
He scored some famous goals during his career, including a stunner against Kaiserslautern in a European competition.
The versatile Bakero's most prolific La Liga campaign was in 1987-88 with Real Sociedad, when he netted 17 times.
# Central Midfielder - Pirri (124 goals)
Pirri started out as a centre-forward, but spent most of his career as a prolific goalscoring midfielder.
The Real Madrid legend won 10 La Liga titles with the team during his 16 seasons in the Spanish top flight. He twice registered 13-goal La Liga campaigns, doing so in the 1970-71 and 1975-76 editions of the competition.
Pirri also played 37 games for Spain, scoring 14 times, including one strike in the 1966 FIFA World Cup.

Rivaldo is one of the most flamboyant and skilful midfielders to have ever graced the Spanish top flight.
In just six seasons in the competition, the 2002 FIFA World Cup winner racked up over 100 goals, with most of them coming for Barcelona. He scored some fabulous goals during his career, including a memorable La Liga hat-trick.
The versatile Rivaldo could don a plethora of positions in the middle and attacking thirds. He enjoyed his most prolific La Liga campaign in 1998-99, when he notched up 24 goals and also provided 15 assists.
