# Central Midfielder - Steven Gerrard (120 goals)
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is one of the finest midfielders to have graced the Premier League. The Englishman is one of only two Liverpool players to score over 100 goals in the competition and is the only midfielder to do so.
Gerrard was largely a one-club man, spending his entire 18-season Premier League stint with Liverpool. The elegant midfielder scored goals and provided assists aplenty during his illustrious career.
One of the best Liverpool players never to have won a league title, Gerrard enjoyed his most prolific Premier League campaign in 2008-09. The Englishman scored 16 times and also assisted on 11 occasions.
He registered a career-best 15 assists in the 2013-14 campaign, but Liverpool endured a late implosion and were pipped by Chelsea to the league title.
# Central Midfielder - Jamie Redknapp (30 goals)
Jamie Redknapp is one of the most prolific goalscoring midfielders for Liverpool in the Premier League.
He scored 41 goals in all competitions for the club, including 30 strikes in the Premier League. Redknapp was a consistent performer for Liverpool, scoring at least one league goal in each of his nine campaigns for the Reds.
In his most prolific Premier League campaign in 1998-99, Redknapp scored eight times and also provided three assists.
# Defensive Midfielder - Paul Ince (14 goals)
Paul Ince is one of a handful of players in the Premier League era to have played for both Liverpool and Manchester United.
The two-time Premier League winner played only two seasons at Liverpool, but he endeared himself to the club faithful by netting key goals.
Ince is one of two Liverpool defensive midfielders with exactly 14 league goals. But Ince (0.22) finds a mention ahead of Xabi Alonso (0.1) because of his superior goals-per-game ratio.
Ince's most prolific Premier League campaign with Liverpool was in 1997-98, his first at the club. He scored eight league goals and also provided six assists that season.
