# Central Midfielder - Paul Scholes (107 goals)
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is one of the most decorated midfielders in the history of the Premier League.
The 11-time Premier League winner scored over 100 goals in the competition, all for United. Coveted by many top clubs across Europe for his ability on the ball, Scholes stayed loyal to the club where he first made his name.
During his illustrious near two-decade-long career, Scholes scored many fabulous goals. He scored at least once in each of his 19 seasons in the Premier League.
In his most prolific Premier League campaign in 2002-03, Scholes scored 14 times in United's triumphant campaign.
# Central Midfielder - Paul Pogba (28 goals)
Paul Pogba is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders of the current generation. But his stint at Premier League giants Manchester United can be described as modest at best.
In the five years since his return to Old Trafford from Juventus, Pogba has played close to 150 Premier League games. The versatile midfielder has scored only 28 times during this period, an underwhelming return considering his ability on the ball.
Pogba has had a fabulous start to his 2021-22 Premier League campaign, though. He has registered seven assists in as many games this season, including four in the season opener against Leeds United.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner enjoyed his most prolific Premier League campaign in 2018-19. He scored 13 times and also provided nine assists, but United finished a lowly sixth.
# Defensive Midfielder - Roy Keane (33 goals)
Roy Keane was the ultimate warrior during his playing days. The seven-time Premier League winner was renowned for his fierce competitiveness on the field and leading his men from the front.
Keane enjoyed a stellar career in the Premier League. He played 366 games in the competition, with over 300 of them coming for Manchester United. Despite largely operating in defensive midfield, the Irishman scored at least once in all but two of his 14 seasons in the Premier League.
The 50-year-old was inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame earlier this year.
