Real Madrid travelled in hope of their 20th straight win. They achieved it in style.

The win takes Real Madrid top of the table, 5 points clear of FC Barcelona. This loss is their ninth loss which takes Almeria into the relegation zone. They are now 18th in the table with all 3 relegation zone teams with 10 points.

Almeria 0-1 Real Madrid- Isco (34’)

Isco collects the ball near the edge of the penalty box with the goal on his right side. Cuts in, fakes a shot once goes further right and curls one into the bottom left corner of the goal. Ruben could not have stopped that.

UD Almeria 1-1 Real Madrid- Verza (39’)

Verza gets the a loose ball after Varane’s clearing header. He takes cue and unleashes a perfect shot into the goal. Wonderful strike. Iker Casillas beaten by pace and accuracy of the shot.

UD Almeria 1-2 Real Madrid- Bale (42’)

Toni Kroos gets a lot of time to measure his cross from the right. Pinpoint accuracy and perfect weight for Bale to power a header home to the right of the keeper.

UD Almeria 1-3 Real Madrid- Ronaldo (81’)

Cristiano Ronaldo plays a lovely give and go with Bale and then threads it through for Karim Benzema who squares the ball back to Ronaldo to slot home. He looked frustrated at his performance today. This goal must have satisfied him a bit.
