Barcelona’s teenage forward Sandro Ramirez became a hero after scoring the winner against Villarreal on Sunday at El Madrigal.
It was the 18-year-old’s first goal for the club as the Catalan club dominated the game but struggled to score.
Earlier, Lionel Messi had hit the woodwork in the first half with a free kick that was saved by goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo. Villarreal also had a good chance with Tomas Pina hitting the post.
Messi finally helped break the deadlock by receiving the ball in the box, drawing out the goalkeeper and then laying it on a plate for an unmarked Ramirez to tap in.
