City pass the ball around the right hand side of the penalty box before Navas races down and cuts the ball back for David Silva who spins around and fires a low shot which beats Heaton at the near post.
Manchester City 2-0 Burnley (Fernandinho 33’)
Nasri aims to take a shot from the edge of the box before being crowded out. He then lays the ball of to Fernandinho who unleashes a deadly strike which ricochets off the underside of the crossbar and into the goal.
Manchester City 2-1 Burnley (George Boyd 47’)
Danny Ings was allowed to to take a scuffed shot from the edge of the box which Boyd taps into the back of the net with the faintest of touches. Might have been offside.
Manchester City 2-2 Burnley (Ashley Barnes 81’)
City failed to clear a set piece which allowed Barnes just enough time to hit a half volley perfectly into the top left corner of the net. Hart clearly beaten.
Burney held on to record a brilliant 2-2 away result against City. Burnley also became the first team since Fulham in 2009 October to come back from a two goal deficit to earn a point at the Etihad.
This result means Manchester City stays second on the table and Burnley remain 19th.
