Midfielders - Kevin de Bruyne, Jorginho & Kante
Kevin de Bruyne failed to impress during his time at Stamford Bridge and the club eventually sold him to Wolfsburg in 2014 after loaning him to Wender Bremen a year before.
He impressed with his performances in the Bundesliga and was signed by Manchester City in 2015. The Belgian has been nothing but a revelation since his move to the Ethiad and he established himself as one of City's most important players. He won the Etihad Player of the Year award in 2015 and was the Premier League's top assist provider for the 2016-2017 season.
He was a driving force behind Manchester City's outstanding performances in the 2017-2018 season, scoring eight goals and assisting further 16. The 27-year-old was Manchester City's Player of the Season and also won the Premier League Playmaker of the Season 2017-18 accolade.
Jorginho - The Italian international joined Chelsea for £57 million from Napoli in the last summer transfer window of 2018 and has proved to be an excellent piece of business by the club.
The 26-year-old is considered among the best players for the Blues this season and he is bringing out the best of his teammates with his exceptional passing skills and vision. Jorginho completed 98.3 passes per game in the league this season, with a passing accuracy rate of 91.3 per cent.
Arguably the best midfielder in the League, N'Golo Kante joined Chelsea from Leicester City in the summer transfer window of 2016.
He won the PFA Player of the Season award during his first season in London and helped the club win the Premier League 2016-2017 title. Kante finished eighth in the Ballon d'Or 2017 rankings and was also included in the FIFA FIFPro World XI 2018.
