Defence:
With Chris Smalling in contention to make his first appearance for Solskjaer, the manager may opt to start him for this game. Before his injury, Smalling was the most consistent defender for Manchester United this season and was developing a great understanding with Victor Lindelof.
Ashley Young will be expected to continue in the right back position or the manager may opt for an attacking threat of Diogo Dalot, though Young's experience just edges him out.
The left-back position is now a fully settled position with Luke Shaw now performing consistently. Barring any misfortune, he should continue to play in that position.
The two full backs will be extremely important as they will provide width for United when they have the ball. They will stretch the game for United and try to deliver crosses into the opposition's box especially when Leicester turn too defensive.
Victor Lindelof will be the man that will be tasked with building from the back while his partner Chris Smalling will be the one mopping up behind him.
That four-man defence will be Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw
