Midfield:
The Manchester United midfield has really been stabilized by the Norwegian manager since he took over. He has enabled the three men that are patrolling that area to be familiar with each other and most importantly he's playing them to their strengths.
No longer is Paul Pogba asked to perform extra defensive duties and Ander Herrera isn't used sparingly against top teams to sniffle their attacking force. Every one of them is playing to his strengths.
Nemanja Matic will continue to be the holding player, splitting in between Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba in that midfield trio. He will be tasked with protecting his back four and helping ensure that the team remains ticking over the entire ninety minutes of the game.
Paul Pogba will be expected to continue where he left off with amazing marauding runs and creating chances for his teammates. And finally, Ander Herrera will be covering for his full backs as he has been doing and look to pick out runners with precise long passes.
Solskjaer will want to return to this stable midfield having rested Herrera against Burnley in a move that didn't go all too well.
