Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and striker Antoine Griezmann are the two French footballers most preferred by their countrymen, according to a survey published on Friday by the newspaper L'Equipe.
Lloris, the goalkeeper of English club Tottenham, also France's captain, received 23 percent support, three percent more than the Atletico Madrid attacker Griezmann, reports Efe.
They are followed by midfielders Mathieu Valbuena (12 percent), Paul Pogba (7 percent) and Blaise Matuidi (7 percent).
Striker Karim Benzema also receives 7 percent of the support, despite not being selected for his alleged involvement in the case of the sex tape blackmail of Valbuena.
The survey also revealed that 73 percent of French people do not want Benzema to play in the Euro 2016.
