#1 East Bengal start the year with a win

The first I-League match of 2018 was played at the Dr. Ambedkar Stadium in Delhi, where the Indian Arrows took on East Bengal. The youngsters looked confident at the beginning of the game, but lost the plot when the away team started putting pressure.

Al Amna scored the first goal with a free kick and Katsumi Yusa doubled the lead before half-time. There was a beautiful display of skills and passes from both the teams in the midfield but it was East Bengal who bagged three points at the end of the game.

It was a positive start for the team in the new year with a clean sheet and it will definitely give confidence to the team as well as fans.
