Ibrahimovic calls Messi 'too short' and Ronaldo a 'useless' player

FC Barcelona Training Session

The Swedish star striker Zlatan Ibrahimhovic is again in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. This time, he came up with some bizarre statements to mock both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The PSG striker mocked the Barcelona starlet for being short. He went on and labelled Ronaldo of being undeserving to be in the top 3 of the Ballon d’Or shortlist.

While talking to the Argentinean Canchallena website, Zlatan quoted, “Messi may have four Golden Balls, but I don’t have to get on a box to buy a chocolate bar in a vending machine.

“As for Cristiano Ronaldo, he’s a privileged spectator, who only watches how Messi receives all his awards. He doesn’t deserve to be in the top three, there are at least ten people better than him,” added Zlatan.

Messi was recently awarded with a fourth Ballon d’ Or award, while Ronaldo made it to the final three for the sixth consecutive year.

On the other hand, Zlatan has never been one of the prime contenders of the prestigious award and is known for his controversial statements against players and managers in the past few years.

In 2011, the Swede claimed in his autobiography that Pep Guardiola had ‘no b***’ while he deemed Mario Balotelli as just another ‘mediocre’ player.
