Casillas has had a mixed start to his Porto career

Iker Casillas’ start to his unexpected Porto career was a decent one with the Portuguese emerging 2-0 victors over Duisburg. But his second game of pre-season went pretty dismally having conceded 2 goals against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Porto lost 2-1 to them after pulling one goal back but could not do enough to get a result. The former Real Madrid man has the composure and experience not to be disturbed by such a performance, however, it’s not something you usually expect form a player of his calibre.

Casillas’ two performances in pre-season have been a mixed bag and only over the next few weeks or more will we be able to have a clearer indication of the Spanish icon’s future at the Portuguese club.
