IMG-Reliance commences training-cum-conditioning camp in Mumbai

IMG-Reliance, the marketing and commercial partner of AIFF, today commenced a one-month long training-cum-conditioning camp for its’ contracted players at the Cooperage Ground here in Mumbai.

24 players, including Syed Nabi, Subrata Paul, Gouramangi Singh, Nirmal Chettri, Ishfaq Ahmed, Renedy Singh, Mohammed Rafi, NP Pradeep, M Wadoo etc., joined the training-cum-conditioning camp on Day One, while the rest 13 players will be joining over the weekend.

Trevor James Morgan, who is expected to reach India on Saturday and take charge of the camp from Monday, 5^thAugust 2013, will oversee the training proceedings. The 56-year-old experienced coach is a Perth based Englishman with over 18 years of coaching experience at different levels and geographies and an almost equal number of years as a professional player.

Morgan will be assisted by Arshad Hussain, former coach to the erstwhile Mahindra United FC, Debashish Mukherjee, goalkeeper coach and Dr. Sandeep Kurale, physio.

Training camp at Cooperage Ground will be in the morning session (7:00 am to 9:30 am) daily. During the course of the camp, players will also have a couple of practice matches.
