IMG-Reliance hold joint training session with Mumbai FC

A joint practice session between IMG-Reliance contracted players and Mumbai FC took place at the Cooperage Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday. There was also a practice game between a team of IMG-R players and Mumbai FC which ended in a goalless draw.

Former Mumbai FC and India striker Abhishek Yadav has become the latest name to sign with IMG-R for the proposed IPL-style football tournament to be held from January 2014.

A similar joint practice session was conducted with Air India on Monday with the practice match finishing in a 2-2 draw. The training camp, where former East Bengal tactician Trevor James Morgan is the coach, will conclude on Saturday August 31. Before that though, another joint session with ONGC will take place on Friday.
