The travelling side from Kolkata pounded the Bangalore outfit to pulp, by putting 8 goals past the HAL keeper. Australian ‘goal scoring machine’ Tolgay Ozbey shared the team’s spoils by adding 4 goals and an assist to the East Bengal’s scoreline. It was one way traffic from the start till the end, as Bangalore struggled to hold possession for more than 2 minutes. After today’s result East Bengal moves up in the standings from 6th to 3rd while HAL Bangalore remains rooted to the last spot on 14th.
