Luxembourg aren’t exactly known to be a great footballing nation, but they did hold Italy to a 1-1 draw last night in a pre-World Cup friendly warm up match.
But the highlight of the night was this throw in from Luxembourg player Chris Philipps.
With vast amounts of space between the fence and the touchline, Philipps took a run up that was at least six strides long. But when it came to the final Stoke City-esque delivery, he failed miserably and the ball slipped out of his hand, looped into the air and barely even reached the box!
Not to mention, Philipps lost his footing and fell to the ground in a heap.
